A nice dissection of issues of Kashmir & Kashmiriat. A light for the valley in darkness which is Kashmir.
An honest travelogue which led the authors to delve deeper & provide the much needed focus to Kashmiri issues. It agitates the mind. May serve as a guide for powers that be for working out appropriate solutions to deal with the vexed issues, for bringing Kashmir in the mainstream of India.
Authors should have added a few photos to bring out the beauty of the valley.

This is an important illustration of what can happen when two individuals decide that they care enough about an issue to get to the bottom of it. Love the effort, the narrative and the information. As a person who does not know enough about the issue, this proved to be a treasure trove of facts that informed my own version of the historical narrative which was different from some of the conclusions drawn here. But to me, the importance of this work is not whether you agree with the piece or not, it is in the passion and diligence that creates the space for an honest reflection of one’s own position and a discussion with others.
